Hi all,
Time for another contest and this is a fun one!
I taught you before how to do the choo choo shimmy and I also showed you a fun way to practice the choo choo shimmy by drawing your name on the floor. Here are these 2 videos:
How to do the choo choo shimmy
How to draw your name with the choo choo shimmy
Now let's see if you can draw your name with the choo choo shimmy. If you think you can, make a video and upload it to You Tube, send me the link and post your video as a response to this contest video below and you will win the coin belt you see in the video.
Here are the rules of the contest:
1- you must subscribe to the You Tube channel
2- You must like the Bellydance Video Blog Facebook page
2- You must like the Bellydance Video Blog Facebook page
3- You must post a comment on the contest video on You Tube
5- Draw your name with the choo choo shimmy
6- Post a video reply to the contest video on You Tube
My local students could draw their name with the choo choo shimmy in any class I teach and I will consider it instead of a You Tube video. For the class schedule, check out my website

it's korzun's vid at 1:00-1:03. some vids show her and other dancers do it longer than 5sec and sometimes i thought it was a walking hip drop of some sort but i really wish i could ask someone to break it down. it's so hard to be the lone belly dance enthusiast in a place where even basic classes come only once in a while so i rely on ur vids to learn more. u r the authority on this art form. u r very busy and yet u do ur best in reaching out to as many lovers of the art as u can. will keep expecting for more exciting vids from u. thank u so much.
I believe that's a simple hip drop but she is simply walking around with it
that to me looked like a belly pop.
awesome vid, thanks for sharing!
Mei, silverbatwing is correct, she is doing belly pops with a big of an angle.
